How to play
How to play Club 6E Ring Rush
One button, one ring, one moving spark. The rules take a minute to learn; the timing takes a little longer. Here is everything the game does, and how to make it work for you.

- 1Start a runPress Start under the ring, tap the ring itself or press Space. The spark sets off at its slowest speed.
- 2Read the gateFind the glowing arc on the ring. Cyan gates are normal; every sixth gate is gold and doubles the hit.
- 3Tap inside the gateTap while the spark is inside the arc. The white core in the middle gives a Perfect worth 25 points.
- 4Follow the turnAfter each hit the spark reverses and the gate moves. Look ahead to where the new gate is before you tap.
- 5Chain sixSix hits in a row add one to your multiplier, up to x6, and give back a lost life.
The ring, the spark and the gate
The ring is a fixed circle. The spark is the bright pink dot that never stops moving around it, leaving a short trail behind. The gate is the thick glowing arc. Only the spark's position at the instant you tap matters, so a quick, clean tap is better than a long press.
Three small dots sit just outside each gate. They show how many more times the spark may pass through without a tap. When the last one goes out, the gate fades and you lose a life, so you cannot sit and wait for the slowest possible moment.
Points, Perfects and the multiplier
| Event | Effect |
|---|---|
| Hit on the arc | 10 points × multiplier |
| Perfect (white core) | 25 points × multiplier |
| Gold gate | That hit counts double |
| 6 hits in a row | Multiplier +1 (max x6), one life back (max 3) |
| Tap outside the gate | Lose a life, streak and multiplier reset |
| Gate fades after 3 passes | Lose a life, a new gate appears |
How the difficulty rises
Every hit makes the spark a touch faster and the next gate a touch narrower, until both reach a fixed limit. A new run always resets to the opening pace. The curve is the same for everyone and does not react to how well you are doing, so your best run is a fair record of your own timing.
Eight timing tips
- Look where the spark is going, not where it is. After each hit it turns round, so the new gate is ahead in the new direction.
- Use the first pass to read the speed. You have three passes per gate; there is no prize for tapping on the first one.
- Tap with the pad of your thumb, not the nail. It registers sooner and more evenly on most screens.
- Play with sound on. The rising tones mark your streak and make the rhythm easier to feel.
- Protect the streak before chasing Perfects. An edge hit at x4 beats a missed Perfect every time.
- Treat gold gates calmly. They are worth double, not harder. Tap them like any other gate.
- On a keyboard, rest a finger on Space. It is the quickest input the game reads.
- Stop after a few runs. Timing gets worse when your eyes are tired; a break often brings a new best.
Pausing and saving
Switch tabs or scroll the ring off screen and the run pauses on its own; tap to carry on. When a run ends, its points are added to your lifetime total in this browser, which decides your rank. See every rank and badge on the Club 6E ranks page, or go straight to the ring.
